
Dr. Roland Vogl
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Roland Vogl of Stanford Law School is joining our Board of Directors. Dr. Vogl is a lawyer, scholar and entrepreneur with strong expertise in intellectual property, innovation, and legal informatics.
Dr. Vogl is a Executive Director of the Stanford Law School Program in Law, Science and Technology and a Lecturer in Law at Stanford Law School. He focuses on legal tech work carried out in the Center for Legal Informatics (CodeX), which he co-founded and leads as Executive Director. He researches international tech law through the Transatlantic Technology Law Forum, a think-tank dedicated to transatlantic tech law and policy issues.
Among his other achievements, Dr. Vogl spearheaded the development of the Stanford Intellectual Property Exchange, a Stanford research initiative focused on solving content licensing inefficiencies in higher education. Dr. Vogl is a co-founder of the privately held spin-off of this initiative, SIPX Inc., and serves on its Board of Directors.
We are delighted that Dr. Vogl will be contributing his extensive knowledge and experience in law, technology and entrepreneurship at this important stage in our development.
